Reverend Joseph H. Neal served as the Representative for South Carolina’s 70th District from 1993 until his death in February 2017. His passion for improving the lives of his fellow South Carolinians was born through his community efforts and his legislative service. In the House of Representatives, he served as First Vice Chairman of the Medical, Military and Municipal Affairs Committee, which is responsible for legislation affecting social services, corrections, and mental health.
"The greatest legacy that we can leave is a perpetual and pertinent package of powerful principles which we have ourselves proclaimed and practiced."
To earnestly, equitably, and boldly continue Joe's work.
